Takeaway Points:
*Successful people are not successful because they’re in the right place at the right time. Successful people recognize the opportunities before them and take action.
*No entrepreneur can meet all the needs of a business. If you can find someone who compliments, yet challenges, your unique style, take advantage of their counsel when weighing important business decisions.
*Trust is vital if you hope to be successful in a business partnership
*Success favors the prepared. Ray prepared by mastering his particular field of expertise. If you know your industry better than anyone else, you’ll be the expert that everyone will look to for counsel and advise.
*Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover
-Mark Twain
*One must learn by doing the thing, for though you think you know it, you have not certainty until you try.
-Aristotle
