syndicate your products through google amazon ebayMany businesses are deciding that the best place to sell their products and services is actually not off their own Web site. The alternative: “renting” space in existing high traffic online marketplaces, similar to how one might approach marketing in the brick-and-mortar world. In the Internet marketing world, this is called syndication.

While there are fees associated with syndicating the marketing of products and services, the return can unbelievable. In fact, the amount of business and exposure syndication can provide, it can be cheaper alternative than maintaining your own online storefront.
From Amazon and eBay to free posting services, such as Google Base (formerly Froogle) and Craig’s List — these sites offer a lot of benefits business owners may want to consider before spending any more money on their existing site.

Internet Marketing 101
Internet marketing is the process of using the Internet as the medium to syndicate & sell products & services of an organization, a company or an individual. As compared to other media, one can easily harvest maximum profit by choosing Internet marketing.

Once you syndicate your product via the Internet, you don’t have to employ marketing executives for different shifts. The information about the product & services you sell would be available 24/7 – enhancing profits with low investment. And, you’re able to reach any target audience. Both consumers and companies use the Internet to search for products and services.

The ability to list your products on these sites and their networks represents an enormous opportunity to introduce your products to customers you might otherwise spend millions of dollars in advertising to reach.

Most of these services offer site visitors and searchers three major features:

1. An extensive directory of products by category,
2. A searchable index of online products
3. The ability to filter searches by price range or other characteristics

As searching for products becomes more sophisticated – because of technology and the volume of products and services listed, it is critical to name your products appropriately and include descriptions with keywords that consumers will search on. A few helpful tips include:

1. Including keyword phrases in your product descriptions. The repetition of words is a good technique, however, don’t repeat any keyword more than two times. You must be “over” obvious when inserting key words into your product descriptions.

2. Make sure your product names and descriptions include brand names if you sell brand name products. Some of these services, like eBay, allow merchants to make their product descriptions into miniature sales pitches. It might be well worth engaging the services of a professional copywriter to create your product descriptions. If your online store isn’t converting traffic into customers as fast as you’d like, maybe it’s time to do that anyway.

3. Make sure to leverage the price of your products in order to drive searchers to your online store.

4. Consider online ads. Today’s online ad marketplaces make it easy for any type or size of business to advertise. These ad networks also syndicate ads to push your ad into sites that you may not have originally thought of. And, you set the daily budget for how much you’re willing to spend; you only pay when someone clicks on an ad. Yahoo, Google or MSN are good places to start.
