I was tooling around the internet and came across an excellent resource for anyone struggling to put together their business plan. Funding Universe has published a huge list of samples that will get you started.
I looked through a number of these and yeah…it’d be a huge temptation to swap out your name on one of these suckers and call it done. But I think that defeats the purpose (if not the spirit) of a good business plan.
Still, I think many people don’t go to the trouble of writing a business plan just because they over think the end product and are intimidated by the format. Having a strong example may be just the thing thing to get you started.
After all, the hard thinking shouldn’t be on the presentation. The hard thinking should be on the plan and its execution.
I thought the number and breadth of samples here were impressive.
